eShopWorld shortlisted in three categories for ISA Software Awards 2016
Friday 28th October – eShopWorld, an Irish owned, global provider of localised and tailored ecommerce solutions for leading retail brands worldwide, has been shortlisted in three categories for the ISA Software Awards 2016 - ISA Digital Technology Company of the Year, Outstanding Achievement in International Growth, and Digital Technology Services Project of the Year.
The ISA, alongside award gold sponsors Bank of Ireland, ByrneWallace and Enterprise Ireland have extended their congratulations to the companies on this significant achievement.
Following publication of shortlisted entries, eShopWorld will now present to eight independent panels of judges, composed of CEOs and founders of successful Irish software and digital technology companies.
Over 70 tech companies and organisations from across Ireland entered this year’s awards and winners will be announced at the annual awards event on 25 November in the Mansion House, Dublin. The keynote speaker for the awards is Mark Little, VP of Media EMEA and MD of Twitter Ireland and, founder of Storyful. Darragh Maloney, Sports Broadcaster is MC for the evening.
Director of the ISA Paul Sweetman said: “The software and digital technology sector in Ireland is thriving. Year-on-year, stellar companies are entering the Awards and 2016 is no exception. More than 70 tech companies and organisations from across Ireland entered this year’s awards and it is the tireless efforts of all in these companies that bring Ireland to the fore of the global technology sector.”
eShopWorld CEO Tommy Kelly said; “We are delighted to be shortlisted in three categories, alongside some of the most exciting and dynamic technology companies in Ireland. 2016 has seen continuing growth and expansion for eShopWorld, and to be shortlisted is recognition of the hard work and vision of all of our team. We look forward to the awards ceremony next month.”
The award categories include: Digital Technology Company of the Year; Emerging Company of the Year; Technology Innovation of the Year; Outstanding Achievement in International Growth; Digital Technology Services Project of the Year; Excellence in Talent Development; Multinational Corporation Initiative of the Year; Outstanding Academic Achievement of the Year.
