Delivery service levels that are recognized internationally

Delivering products worldwide is a necessarily complex business, but we have managed to formulate the options so that you can offer your customers a simplified set of scenarios that covers all international possibilities.

eShopWorld offers your customers a range of delivery options appropriate to their region and the goods they are purchasing.

Though delivery service names and classifications vary across the world, there are basically four delivery service levels available internationally, which are as follows:

  • Standard mail: no tracking, weighing up to 2kg (IBMS);
  • Enhanced mail: tracking to point of delivery, but not requiring a signature (Priority mail);
  • Express delivery: courier delivery service with full tracking, but not requiring a signature.
  • Signed Express delivery: courier delivery with full tracking and signature.

Both the Express and Signed Express Delivery products are also available via cost-effective ground courier solutions.

Determining the best delivery options for your customers

Choosing a set of delivery options for your customers will depend on your product characteristics, with two essential criteria:

  • Product value – for example, more expensive items are normally delivered signed express; and
  • Weight and dimensions – for example, small items up to 2kg can be delivered via the standard mail.
