Zara has announced it will launch its Australian online store on March 14.
In a brief message to its Australian shoppers, fashion retailer Zara has revealed plans to open its Australian online store, 7 years after launching in Sydney. The Spanish mega brand is set to join the ranks of fast fashion retailers such as H&M, Uniqlo and Victoria's Secret, all of which have capitalised on the huge potential in Australia's eCommerce market.
Following on from the launch of Amazon Australia, Zara's Australian online store could create even more competition in the under-serviced market.

Zara's launch of an Australian online store should be considered a threat to any retailers who are not yet offering shipping to Australian consumers. Cross-border eCommerce growth in Australia is set to sky rocket in the coming years, and will leave behind brands who delay their entry into the country.
