31 October 2019 – Global ecommerce provider eShopWorld today announces two senior management team appointments of Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) as it continues to grow revenue and services. eShopWorld provides in-country cross-border ecommerce solutions allowing global brands and retailers to localise their online offering in up to 200 markets around the world.

Conor O’Kane joins eShopWorld as Chief Information Officer, with David Manifold joining as Chief Financial Officer. Both have considerable senior management experience in technology-led, high growth environments. O’Kane joins eShopWorld with an innate understanding of the power of B2B commerce platforms, having spent the last four years as Head of Technology for the eCommerce and Mobile platforms within Travelport, a travel commerce platform providing distribution, technology, payment and other solutions for the global travel and tourism industry. With over 20 years of management experience, prior to joining Travelport, O’Kane was Chief Operating Officer with Mobile Travel Technologies and holds an MBA and Degrees in Applied Physics and Electronics.

David Manifold takes up the position of CFO with over 30 years’ experience in the financial and technology sectors. He joins from Oasis Group where he managed the Group Finance function to support an aggressive growth agenda. Prior to that, Manifold spent almost a decade at Aer Lingus as Director of Integration and Corporate Strategy Director. He brings significant financial and operational strategy expertise in successfully leading, structuring and integrating complex M&A transactions, leading the integration of Aer Lingus into the IAG Group post acquisition. Manifold is a qualified Accountant and holds an MBA.

The company recently announced a 26.7 per cent increase in revenue to €407 million and outlined plans to double revenue, increase global headcount to more than 450 and continue to expand the range and scope of services to discerning and growth-focused premium brands.

Earlier in 2019, eShopWorld doubled its Swords headquarters office space to 24,000sq ft in the Concourse building at Airside Business Park. It also has offices in the US, the UK, Singapore and the Netherlands.
