Awards from Deloitte, Best Place to Work Ireland and Crain’s 100 Best Places to Work in New York

Monday 9th MarcheShopWorld, one of the world’s leading cross-border e-commerce companies, has capped off a trio of awards as an employer of choice, with its designation as a Best Managed Company by Deloitte for the first time.  In recent weeks, the Swords-based company was also accredited by Ireland’s Great Place to Work programme and by Crain’s 100 Best Places to Work in New York.

eShopWorld announced a 26.7 per cent increase in 2018 revenue to €407 million as part of a strategy to double revenue, increase global headcount to more than 450 and continue to expand the range and scope of services to premium brands. In 2019, the company doubled its Swords headquarters office space to 24,000sq ft in the Concourse building at Airside Business Park, and also has offices in the US, the UK, Singapore and the Netherlands.

This is a first-time win for eShopWorld in Deloitte’s Best Managed Companies programme, however the company is a three-in-a-row winner of Deloitte’s Fast 50 ranking of the fastest-growing tech companies in Ireland from 2015 through to 2017.

eShopWorld has also just been recognised as one of Ireland’s best workplaces by Great Place to Work in the medium-large eCommerce and IT businesses category. The assessment process included a comprehensive employee survey and a thorough cultural audit of company policies and practices, which were then benchmarked against other organisations in Ireland.

These awards come on the heels of eShopWorld’s inclusion state-side in Crain’s Top 100 Best Places to Work in New York.

Commenting on these recent recognitions, Tommy Kelly, CEO of eShopWorld said:

As a company, we have always strived to create a culture of excellence and creativity and an environment where every contribution is valued. eShopWorld’s consistent and rapid growth both globally and locally, is a reflection of the efforts of our hardworking and dedicated team. These three designations are evidence that the suite of initiatives we have undertaken to make eShopWorld an environment for people to thrive and grow are working.

eShopWorld provides in-country global eCommerce solutions to retailers, allowing global brands to localise their online store in up to 200 markets around the world. Founded in Swords in 2010 with a team of just 6 people, it now has offices in the US, Singapore and the Netherlands and employs over 350 staff.  Information on open roles across product, technology, logistics, finance, client management and more can be found at https://www.eshopworld.com/company/careers/
