Probably the best thing about working here is the variation, no two weeks are the same, and you’re constantly adapting to new tasks and challenging yourself. Our team is a core unit of the business, and Finance is not just a support function (which it tends to be in many organisations). I enjoy the constant change, I’ve worked outside of my department with other teams on a variety of projects and that’s a really invigorating part of the role. We’ve grown rapidly from a team of 2, to a team of 16! I currently manage 13 people and that’s an opportunity I probably wouldn’t have had in a slower moving company. I get to design processes, make improvements and stretch myself creatively. There’s never a boring minute and if you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and going with the flow, then this is the place for you.
